During my time serving as one of 20 nationwide Campus Marketing Representatives (CMR) for BeatStars, I gained experience as a content creator in the music industry posting on TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms to magnify BeatStars’ brand awareness. I also wrote and sent outreach emails and tracked music production and music industry-related social media trends. As a part of the program, CMRs were given a set of tasks per week with allotted “points” per task amounting to 12 total per week. Some of these tasks included creating Instagram posts and TikToks which showcased my in-home studio setup, discovering new artists (a task I frequently did while working for MAGNIFI), and hosting beat reviews where I take submissions of other producers’ beats and give my honest opinion. I was also tasked with distributing my own personalized code “TYVEN2021” which gave BeatStars users a free month of their Pro Page membership.
